Is teleworking mandatory?
Telework is mandatory for all non essential services and because of that the use of telework so agencies and managers should make every effort to encourage employees and managers to telework as appropriate.
Will online/remote learning follow my current timetable?
Not necessarily. Your tutor should have communicated this to you via Moodle. We have recommended that tutors follow normal time slots for any zoom meetings or chat sessions on-line. Temporary agency workers who would normally continue to be employed by the same user may, exceptionally, also be allowed to be in temporary unemployment during the interruption of activity by COVID-19, if the contractual link with the temporary agency worker is maintained.
How do we conduct a lockdown drill with students simulating exiting the building?
We recommend students, who cannot lockdown, move to the closest exit and stage inside the exit door to simulate they would exit the building and move far enough away until they feel safe. At the conclusion of the drill, students are instructed as to the actions they would take if it were an actual lockdown.
Are lockdowns effective?
It is effective when we all follow this rule strictly and stay at our home and maintaining social distancing we are enduring distancing now will save thousands of life. once you shut down your city to fight the virus, you might even see things get worse before they get better.
