Terms of Service

Rally is how a group tells its own people that something is live. An admin posts a link with a note about what it is, the members who were invited and opted in get a notification, and each person decides for themselves whether to look — and does anything they do themselves, in the other platform's own app, from their own account. These are the rules for using it. They are written to be read, not to pad a page.

Accepting these terms

There is no public sign-up. An admin adds your email address to a team, and only then can you sign in with Google using that same address. Signing in means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not sign in — and tell the admin who invited you, or us, to remove your address.

Admins accept these terms too, and additionally take on the responsibilities in the For admins section below for every task they post and every person they invite.

What Rally is, and what it is not

Rally is an announcement layer with a shared checklist attached. It stores a link, what the admin is telling people about it, a due date and a list of members to notify. It sends a push notification, opens the link, and records that you marked it done. That is the whole product.

Stated the other way round, so there is no confusion about what you are agreeing to:

• Rally is not a bot and does not automate anything on another platform. It never votes, posts, comments, watches, shares, follows or reports on anyone's behalf, and it is not technically able to.
• Rally never receives credentials for any other platform. It does not ask for your Reddit, YouTube, X / Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn login, holds no access token for any of them, and has no connection to them of any kind.
• Rally is not an engagement-purchase service. You cannot buy votes, views, followers or comments through it. It does not supply accounts. Everyone who acts is a person an admin invited, acting as themselves.
• AI comment drafts are drafts. When a team has them enabled, Rally can suggest a starting sentence. A member edits it and posts it personally, in their own words. Rally never posts anything itself.

Acceptable use

This is the most important section on the page. Read it even if you skip the rest.

The rules of whatever platform you are acting on always apply, and they always win. When you open a Rally task you leave Rally and act inside Reddit, YouTube, X / Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or wherever the link points. That platform's own terms, content policy and community rules govern what you do there. A Rally task asking for an action never overrides them, and is never permission to break them. If a task asks for something a platform forbids, the platform is right and the task is wrong: don't do it, and tell the admin.

By using Rally you agree that:

• You act from your own genuine account. One real person, their real account, used the way they normally use it. No accounts created to inflate a count, no accounts shared between people, no acting on someone else's behalf or pretending to be someone you are not.
• No vote manipulation where a platform forbids it. Several platforms, Reddit explicitly among them, prohibit organising votes. Where a platform forbids coordinated voting, do not use Rally to do it. Asking people to look at something is not the same as instructing them how to vote, and the difference matters.
• No fake, bought, rented, automated or bulk-registered accounts, and no sock puppets. If it is not a real person's real account, it has no business in a Rally team.
• No undisclosed paid promotion where disclosure is required. If you are paid, employed or otherwise compensated in connection with what you post — including any contractor, agency or collaborator brought onto a team — you must make the disclosure that the platform and the law where you are require, in the way they require it.
• You are responsible for what you post. Everything you write, upload or vote on lands under your name, on your account, and is yours. Rally does not review it, does not publish it and cannot take it back. That includes anything you started from an AI draft.
• You may ignore any task. Always, and without giving a reason. Nothing is auto-claimed or auto-completed; a task nobody takes simply expires. You can set quiet hours, mute action types you never want, or ask to leave a team. Do not mark a task done that you did not actually do.
• No spam, harassment, deception or illegal content through Rally or through an action taken because of it. No harassing a person or a community, no brigading, no malware or scam links, no content that is unlawful where you are.
• Do not attack the service. No attempting to reach other teams' data, other members' proof screenshots or admin-only routes; no scraping, load-testing, reverse engineering or circumventing the sign-in and role checks.

If a platform suspends or bans your account over something you did, that is between you and that platform. Rally has no relationship with them and cannot appeal on your behalf.

For admins

An admin invites people, posts tasks and sees what happened. With that comes more responsibility, not less.

What an admin can see

Admins of a team can see, for the members of that team:

• Completion records. Which tasks a member was assigned, when they were notified, when they claimed a task and when they marked it complete — in the dashboard and in the CSV export.
• Proof screenshots, where a task required one. These are visible only to admins of that team, are stored privately, and are never public and never shown to other members.
• Declared social handles. A member may record their own handles — handle and public profile URL only, nothing more. Members enter these themselves and can edit or delete them at any time. An admin marking a handle "verified" means a human looked at the public profile; it is not proof of ownership obtained from the platform, and must never be treated as one.
• The admin audit log, so a team can see what its admins did.

Use that information to run the team and nothing else. Do not export it, sell it, publish it, or feed it to anything unrelated to the work. The privacy policy is the full account of what is stored and who can see it.

What an admin may post as a task

• A link you are entitled to promote, pointing at real content on a real platform.
• An action that is allowed where it lands. Before you ask for it, check that the target platform permits it. You are responsible for the task you publish, including any instruction text and any AI-generated draft you choose to send out.
• Nothing deceptive. No asking members to hide a relationship that must be disclosed, to impersonate a customer or an unrelated bystander, to post identical text as if it were independent opinion, or to leave a review of something they have not used.
• Nothing unlawful, hateful, harassing or targeted at a private individual, no adult content, and no coordinated pile-on against a person, a business or a community.
• No task that requires a member to break a platform's rules — see Acceptable use. Members can refuse, and should.

Invite only people who agreed to be invited, and only at an address they gave you. If Codersera or the Rally team helped you staff your team, everything in this section still applies to you, including disclosure.

Accounts, suspension and termination

• Your account exists because an admin invited it. Keep your Google account secure; anyone who can sign in as you can act as you in Rally.
• An admin can remove a member from their team at any time, with or without notice, and doing so ends that person's access to the team.
• You can leave at any time. Ask an admin to remove you, or email shubh@codersera.com from your sign-in address. To have your data deleted as well, see the privacy policy.
• We may suspend or terminate access — an account, a team, or the service for everyone — if these terms are broken, if a platform or the law requires it, or if we stop running Rally. Where a breach is serious, that can happen immediately and without notice.
• Rally is an internal tool and may change or end. Features can be added, altered or withdrawn, and we do not promise the service will run forever.

Leaving Rally has no effect on your Reddit, YouTube, X, Instagram or LinkedIn accounts, because Rally was never connected to them. Anything you posted on those platforms stays yours to manage there.

No warranty

Rally is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that notifications arrive, that they arrive on time, that the service is uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular result — a ranking, a view count, a placement, or anything else — will follow from using it. Push delivery depends on your device and on Expo's and the platform vendors' networks, none of which we control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Rally team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, or for any action a platform takes against an account — including suspension, removal of content, or a ban — arising out of your use of Rally or of anything you did after a Rally notification. You act on your own account and your own judgement.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing entity and law

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Material changes will also be sent to admins by email. Continuing to use Rally after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, ask to be removed.
